Scene Pavilion (Nautica Stage)

While at Bowen and Associates, Mr. Casalina worked on this open air pavilion located on the West Bank of the Flats in Downtown Cleveland, OH. This was the first major project José was involved in from the conceptual stages all the way through construction. This venue has now been in operation close to 15 years and has hosted many major bands and musicians throughout its time.

John Hay Public High School in Cleveland, OH

This public Highschool was closed for quite some time until Bowen and Associates was awarded the contract to restore this 1929 masterpiece. Mr. Casalina worked on this project in early 2004. José assisted the Project Architect in the early stages of the project by surveying and drawing the existing conditions.

Mathias Lab - Edgewater, MD

While employed at EwingCole, Mr. Casalina was fortunate enough to have worked on a number of high profile projects that ranged from Casinos to Hospitals, and Academic to Laboratories. The most notable project Mr. Casalina worked on was also his last project before he decided to start his architecture consulting business. This project is the Mathias Laboratory at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. José was responsible for researching and documenting the exterior facade of this beautiful building. He met closely with numerous product reps in order to fulfill not only the design intent, but also the energy requirements of the materials in order for this building to meet the LEED certified GOLD requirements.
